Sustainability

There are a few ways to look at sustainability but when you look at the definition "the ability to be maintained at a certain rate or level" we feel at P5 Garments that we manage sustainability quite well - but we definitely have more to do. We will be working with our stakeholders to make sure our sustainability credentials are the highest within the industry.

First and foremost we need to make sure we share in our prosperity with all our stakeholders, from our raw material suppliers to our factories, from our agents to our employees and from our end consumers to our actual customers - we need to make sure each partner throughout our supply chain is cared for and shares in any prosperity that is created. This creates a sustainable business plan for ourselves where our partners want to work with us over the long term.

Secondly, we need to look after our planet, both now and for future generations. Being involved in the supply chain of garments we are fundamental in being able to influence the way in which garments are designed, manufactured, sold and even recycled - our sustainability credentials have been tip top for a long time but we only seem to be at the tip of where we need to be to help change minds within our sector. More can be done and we will make sure more will be done.

Together with all our stakeholders we will ensure we do more to sustainably manage our resources to build a Better Business for tomorrow.

Raw Materials

We work with our supply chain to find raw material suppliers who know a thing or two about environmentally friendly methods of producing the raw materials that make up a garment.

Factories

We work with our current factory base to not only increase the use of environmentally friendly resources and ways of working but when finding new factories we set an increasingly higher expectation of what the factory's green credentials should be.

Our premises

We are working towards all our offices and warehouse facilities we occupy to be net zero by 2030. Until then we will offset the carbon emissions from the current premises.

Customers

Working with current customers to educate them about the most sustainable way of bringing a garment to market and also finding new customers who share the same ethical standards as ourselves.

Trees

PLANTING TREES

We are proud to be working in partnership with Ecologi to not only make sure we work with the planet in a sustainable manner but we also look to make good some of the damage we've done over the 50 years we've been in business - going above and beyond!
Our aim with the support of our customers is to plant over a million trees within 3 years.
